The Challenge

Home to some of the world’s biggest names in soft drinks, Britvic tasked us with the challenge of integrating a vibrant digital canvas into its newly renovated reception area and staff breakout hub.

While the VISUALAB team went to work on the creatives, our technology partner coodart took care of integrating the tech seamlessly into the space.

It was important to create a powerful piece of branded content perfect for the canvas, where the bezel couldn’t be seen - so we created the animation in such a way that viewers would presume it was one very big and very impressive display.

We wanted to show that signage in the corporate space can be so much more than a single-use tool. This versatile platform welcomes, entertains, promotes and communicates important information when needed.

Our Approach

Part of our approach was to create almost a ‘celebratory showcase’ of all of the amazing brands that are housed under the Britvic umbrella - which would also function as an entertaining focal point in the breakout space and reception area. We therefore created a playful animation using branded bottle caps to show off their impressive drink selection. This clever piece of digital art was edited to play beautifully across both video walls, in their varying sizes.

Being home to some pretty cool brands, we wanted to create something that was fun, vibrant and fitting not only for the space, but Britvic in general - and what’s more funky than a rubiks cube made up of your favourite drinks!

The Detail

The impressive bottle top animation spans seamlessly across a lengthy canvas positioned in the hub, which is a relaxed space enjoyed by both visitors and employees. One of our priorities here here was to make the screen’s bezel completely undetectable.

We had a very similar approach with the 3x86” display in the Britvic reception space, which also features a 3D floating rubiks cube made up of their most popular drink brands. This display is also accompanied with welcome messages to greet staff and visitors as they enter. Messaging can be easily tailored by staff internally, to cater for special guests that may be visiting or events as and when they take place.

The Results

The displays in both the Britvic reception area and breakout hub create a striking feature that instantly captures the attention of everyone who enters. Not only that, the platform also provides an effective tool for greeting new visitors while celebrating the many brands that Britvic is home to.
